By the end of the 1960’s the band 'Jasmin T' was formed and they toured extensively throughout Europe, having a number 1 hit single in The Faroe Islands. They worked in Italy with composer/singer/songwriter Lally Stott, who wrote many hits for the band Middle of the Road. They played with him on numerous recordings with RCA Italiano and RCA Victor. During this time, Jasmin T recorded and released a double A-side record in Europe under their own name.

In 1980 the band changed their name to The Bootles and concentrated on playing Beatles' songs. They again toured Europe, appearing in their own one-hour television spectacular in Bulgaria and selling over 300,000 LPs.

In addition to participating in a 20-minute television show on England's Channel 4, the Bootles have also appeared on television and radio in many countries throughout Europe. They have also played at corporate and military functions and, on two occasions, have appeared at the well-known Beatles Festival in Liverpool.

Perhaps the best description of the band's music came from a Swedish newspaper, which said: "Close your eyes - it's the Beatles! Their vocals are uncanny - the only thing this can be attributed to is that they are all Liverpool lads!"
